Air Optix Aqua - Rebate Info

Many contact lens manufactures are offering special rebates. We found 2 different types of rebates for Air Optix products.  One rebate is offered by CIBA Vision and promoted on the official air optix website. This rebate is tied to buying from a doctor (e.g. after getting an eye exam and lens fitting) and is called a doctor copayment rebate; we also found rebate offers for Air Optix Aqua offered by certain online retailers when you purchase Air Optix Aqua contacts on their web site. 

Doctor Copayment Rebate

The rebate is $15 when you buy 2 boxes or an extra $20 when you buy 4 boxes of Air Optix Aqua from your eye doctor. You can submit your details online - CIBA Vision added a new rebate section to their site, which you can find here...

Mail/Online-Order Rebate (offered by certain online retailers)

If you buy 4 boxes (each box containing 6 lenses) of Air Optix Aqua, your rebate is $20 (we found this rebate on ACLens.com).
The 2011 Air Optix Aqua rebate is available until December 31, 2011 to new or existing lens wearers after getting an eye exam and then purchasing Air Optix Aqua contacts.

How to receive the Air Optix Aqua Mail-in Rebate

Get an eye exam from your eye care practitioner.

Buy 4 boxes of Air Optix Aqua Lenses from a participating online store.

Receive a rebate certificate from the online store offering the rebate together with the purchased (and shipped) boxes.  Go to the CIBA Vision rebate page and start the process online.  You will be asked to create a profile, enter your purchase info, and submit your rebate.  At the end you can print an online form and mail in your rebate submission.

- 2 UPC Codes (they are printed on each contact lens box, so just cut them out).
- A copy of the receipt of your eye exam or fitting consultation
- The original product purchase receipt (copies are not accepted). The receipt must indicate the total number of boxes purchased.

Which online stores are offering an Air Optix Aqua rebate?

As mentioned, the air optix microsite is focusing on doctor copayment rebates, but - after digging around - we, found the following merchants offering a rebate:

• ACLens, coastalcontacts.com and discountlenses.com are offering a $20 rebate (based on buying 4 boxes)

As with any rebate offer, please check below for additional restrictions as well as the retailer's site. We are updating this page regularly, but in case you found an error, please let us know - we try our best, but sometimes it's just not enough :-)

Additional Notes:

• Rebates are subject to the availability of certificates so make sure you check with your ECP or store before completing any transaction.
• Keep in mind that it can take up to 8 weeks for delivery of the rebate check.
• CIBA Vision will not accept submissions without an eye exam receipt.
• Make sure to check the expiry date of the mail-in rebate. Purchases must be made before January 31, 2012 and your mail must be postmarked before February 29, 2012.
• Product purchases must be made within 90 days of exam.
• The offer is limited to one rebate per person and the offer is not valid in combination with any other offer or rebate. Photocopy of the rebate certificate is not valid for redemption. No P.O. Boxes, only street and rural addresses are acceptable.
