Does 1-DAY ACUVUE® MOIST® stand up to 1-DAY ACUVUE® TruEye®? Latter one was the first daily-wear disposable contact lens made from a new silicone hydrogel material (Narafilcon A), which promises more comfort and better wetting. We have looked at the technical parameters and are comparing some other important contact lens parameters and features.

Both lenses provide impressive parameters although we believe that 1-DAY ACUVUE® TruEye® is the winner in this side-by-side comparison. It is clearly the next generation of disposable contact lenses and an improvement over 1-DAY ACUVUE® MOIST®. ACUVUE® TruEye® has better UV blocking capabilities, and provides more oxygen flow to the cornea. In addition it comes with HYDRACLEAR technology, a superior wetting agent that should provide additional comfort and a 'wetter' feeling.
1-DAY ACUVUE® TruEye® is available in North America and many other countries around the world. However the price tag for this lens is a little bit higher than the price for non-silicone hydrogel lenses and is typically starting in the low to mid 30's for a 30 lens package.
