When shopping for AIR OPTIX AQUA Multifocal, it's important to be cautious and not base your decision solely on the lowest advertised price you encounter online. Some retailers employ deceptive tactics, such as the bait-and-switch method, where they entice customers with seemingly unbeatable prices, only to add substantial handling fees (a cost we include in our price calculation). Additionally, while retailer mail-in rebates may seem appealing, we strongly recommend to check the requirements for the claim submission to receive a prepaid Visa or Mastercard reward. Such rebates involve extra steps and potentially lengthy delays in realizing your savings.

  • For a 6-month supply, purchase 1 box containing 6 lenses.
  • For a 12-month supply, buy 2 boxes containing 6 lenses per box.

Tip: To optimize your savings, we suggest selecting a higher lens count, saving you extra money. Recommended box quantities are per eye.

When it comes to selecting the right retailer for your AIR OPTIX AQUA Multifocal contact lenses, there are a few crucial factors to keep in mind. Some retailers, such as ContactsDirect, 1-800 Contacts, Lensabl, Lenscrafters and DiscountContactLenses, have earned a stellar reputation for their commitment to customer satisfaction and exceptional service when it comes to selling AIR OPTIX AQUA Multifocal. These trusted names in the industry have a long-standing history of delivering on their promises, ensuring that your contact lens purchasing experience is smooth and hassle-free.

If you come across rebates for contact lenses like AIR OPTIX AQUA Multifocal, know that you can only get the discount if you buy the lenses from participating eye doctors and optometrists. If you buy them online, you won't qualify for the discount from the manufacturer.

Currently, there is no manufacturer rebate for this lens.

Visit our manufacturer mail-in rebate page for additional details. Keep in mind that contact lens prices at your optometrist's office are often considerably higher than the prices we have listed on this page, even after factoring in a mail-in rebate.

Is it worth considering mail-in rebates offered by online retailers? Well, to begin with, very few retailers offer this option, and there's a good reason for that.

To put it simply, the process of using mail-in rebates can be time-consuming and, at times, frustrating. It typically involves purchasing your lenses online, logging into your retailer account, and printing a rebate form. After filling out and mailing the form, you'll have to wait for a pre-paid VISA card or a similar option to arrive in your mailbox. This waiting period can often take 10 to 12 weeks or even longer after your initial purchase. Additionally, please note that getting a rebate on your AIR OPTIX AQUA Multifocal lenses may depend on the quantity of boxes you purchase, and smaller orders might not qualify for the rebate.

On our price comparison list for AIR OPTIX AQUA Multifocal, we make it clear whether a specific offer's price depends on a mail-in rebate requirement. It's also important to note that the retailer offering such a rebate may not necessarily provide the best deal. Be cautious when making your decision.

Have you ever experienced that unpleasant surprise when you're about to complete an online purchase, and suddenly, there's an unexpected handling fee added to your total cost? Fortunately, there are only a few retailers that sneak in these fees during the checkout process, catching customers off guard. These additional costs can effectively double the overall price you thought you were getting a great deal on.

On top, you might see a price advertised, which requires your to send in a mail-in rebate form, making you pay more upfront and then go through a lengthy rebate process. We call this practice "Inflated Pricing," or some might refer to it as "Hidden Costs." Dealing with such retailers can leave a bad taste in your mouth.

But what drives retailers to implement these handling fees in the first place? The answer lies in their strategy to make their advertised AIR OPTIX AQUA Multifocal prices look more competitive on various online platforms. They aim to attract clicks by displaying lower initial prices on search engines without disclosing these additional fees.

Some retailers offer a best price match or guarantee when they sell you a product like AIR OPTIX AQUA Multifocal, but how straightforward is it to claim such a price match? The devil is in the details, and you should ask yourself if it's worth the effort, especially when you can initially find a more cost-effective retailer. Notably, some of the requirements for claiming a price match are:

  • Ensure the competitor's price is for the exact same product and box size, like the AIR OPTIX AQUA Multifocal 6-pack, and in stock.
  • The price match must be requested within a certain number of days of your purchase and must be validated by providing a link to the competitor's product page.
  • The competitor must be an authorized retailer or part of a list of accepted retailers and not part of a limited-time promotion, clearance, or membership-based pricing.
  • The final, matched price must include any additional fees, including handling fees, shipping and taxes, to provide an accurate comparison.
  • Other restrictions may apply. Always check the details on their site!

Retailers that mention a price match guarantee on their website which would be applicable to a product such as AIR OPTIX AQUA Multifocal include:

Yes, you must have a valid prescription to purchase contact lenses in the United States. Contact lenses such as AIR OPTIX AQUA Multifocal are considered medical devices, and federal regulations require a licensed eye doctor's prescription for the specific lenses you need. However, there's no need to physically send a copy of your prescription when buying online. Instead, you can simply provide your eye doctor's office phone number or the location where you got your prescription. The online retailer will then reach out to them to verify your prescription. Most contact lens sellers offer a convenient feature in the checkout process that lets you find and automatically enter your eye doctor's information, streamlining the process for your convenience.

Wondering if you can use your eyeglass prescription to buy AIR OPTIX AQUA Multifocal contact lenses? The short answer is no. While your eyeglass prescription specifies the lens power you need, it lacks essential details like the base curve (BC) and diameter (DIA) required for ordering contact lenses. Contact lens prescriptions are for specific products, with technical parameters tailored to your eye anatomy and vision correction needs, which are crucial for ensuring a proper fit on the eye. Consult with an Eye Care Professional (ECP) or an optometrist and get a separate contact lens prescription to ensure safe and effective use of your contact lenses. Additionally, you're not required to purchase your contacts from the same place where you got your prescription. Remember to ask for a copy of your contact lens prescription.

Yes, AIR OPTIX AQUA Multifocal lenses do have a shelf-life or an expiry date. Contact lenses are made from various materials, and over time, they can degrade or lose their sterility. The expiry date is determined by the manufacturer at the time of packaging and sealing and is printed on the box and the lid of each lens container. It's essential to pay close attention to this date and not use AIR OPTIX AQUA Multifocal beyond it, as expired lenses can lead to discomfort, and an increased risk of eye infections.

Are you considering Auto-Refill for your contact lenses? It sounds convenient, right? Some contact lens retailers offer a lens subscription service for your AIR OPTIX AQUA Multifocal lenses, which automatically delivers your lenses every 3, 6, or 12 months. But let's pause and think about whether it's really valuable. Firstly, eye exams can lead to prescription changes. If you forget to update your prescription or your lens choice, you might end up with lenses that no longer match your vision needs. And secondly, the online world is full of great deals and offers, so it's always worth checking for new promotions before your next purchase.

The best contacts I have even worn. Wearing contacts for 30 years. Last 5 years using Accuvue bifocal, but Air Optix are much better for reading and also for the comfort. Glad my doctor recommended them.

First time - so comfortable!

I have never worn contact lenses before, so I have nothing to compare them to. The Air Optix Multifocal lenses were comfortable from the moment I put them in! I find them much more effective than my multifocal glasses. It has been several weeks and I cannot get used to the glasses - I get nauseous nearly every time I wear them. I have no such problems with the lenses. My favorite lens cleaning solution is Opti-Free Pure Moist . . . This solution in combination with these lenses give me a comfortable experience all day long. On days when I fly, or am in drier climates or high altitudes like Denver, all I need is a few drops of a contact lens wetting solution like Thera Tears and I am good to go!
