Optimized Toric Lens Geometry is a toric lens design developed and trademarked by CooperVision Inc. It has been applied to various contact lens products that are specifically designed for patients with astigmatism. It consists of four design features with the goal to increase visual accuracy and lens stability, and to better support the fitting process.

Optimized Toric Lens Geometry further explained

Due to a wide ballast band, the fitting process is easier and the lens can be correctly oriented on the eye. Another part of this design is the steady thickness of the lens across the horizontal path. It promises to enhance lens stability and contribute to a consistent fit across the entire power range. In addition, a larger toric optical zone ensures clear vision, regardless of which correction power you require. And last not least, the lenses are coming with a soft, uniform surface that supports maintaining comfort with every eye movement or blink.
