VISITINT® is a trademarked term owned by Alcon and used to describe contact lenses that are slightly tinted with a light-blue or a light-green color. Tinted contact lenses are easier to find when opening a foil-covered plastic box or when they are taken out of an overnight storage case filled with cleaning solution.

The color of the lens does not change the natural eye color - it simply supports patients in the handling of their lenses. Most manufacturers produce contact lenses with a handling tint to offer the same type of support.

The term VISITINT® was originally filed back in 1985 with the US States and Trademark Office and has been renewed several times.
