TearGlyde® is a registered trademark of Alcon originally filed in 2005. TearGlyde® describes Alcon's proprietary dual-disinfection system which reconditions contact lenses and supports moisture retention. TearGlyde is made up of Polyquaternium-1 (POLYQUAD®) mad Myristamidopropyl dimethylamine (ALDOX®), which are both disinfecting ingredients developed by Alcon. Besides these two disinfectants, TETRONIC® 1304 is used as a wetting agent.
