my first set of multifocals after wearing sv contacts for more than 10 years. Both from acuvue - love that brand and never had problems.

Being far sighted, I've been a "flipper" with reading glasses for years! At 54, I started wearing the moist multifocal. I don't have any problem working on the computer, reading paperbacks or seeing things close around me. I actually enjoy seeing the food on my plate clearly! Mid range is ok and distance is so-so. I have to use a green tinted transparency for reading glossy pages from a book because of the shadowing that I experience in front of letters. These contacts arent perfect - but I do, however, enjoy the freedom of glasses! Now that I am used to them, I don't like leaving home without them. Oh yes, they are very comfortable.

I've been using them for a while as my eyes have a really hard time
with monthly or weekly lenses. It's great they come in this packaging each lens individually packaged so they whole box is good for a long time in case you don't use a new one every day.
They're really really soft and thin as hell. I really like them, I've used all the
different sorts of lenses, Bausch and Lomb and others... these ones are the most friendly to my super sensitive eyes. They keep the inflammation and the redness down and I'm pretty happy I can actually wear them for the whole day.

Multi-focal contact lenses: what a wonderful invention. Now I no longer have to wear progressive glasses all the time (although I still wear them in the evening).

I am usually wearing progressive glasses. However, when going on trips, I have always used contact lenses for far distance and reading glasses for reading. I was first sceptical about multifocal lenses, but my eye doc finally convinced me to give'em a shot. I went with trial lenses first: -6.00 / high and -5.50 / high which is a bit lower than my glasses. After wearing them for a few days, I must say, that I am completely happy. I expected my eyes to take some time to get used to them but no problem. My vision is great, whether I drive a car or do work on my laptop. The only downside is, that after about 10 hours my eyes are getting tired, almost as if they no longer want to switch from near to far and vice versa. But overall it's been great and I'm looking forward to a carefree summer holiday with these lenses.
