myday-daily-disposable

MyDay contact lenses use a unique technology to create a lens that fits effortlessly into the wearer's life.  What makes them different? When silicone was first introduced to hydrogel lenses, it increased their ability to transmit oxygen which is important for corneal health.

Unfortunately, this can also make the lens stiff, less wettable and less comfortable. This trade-off - having to give up one for the other - has been a key obstacle to real growth in the daily disposable silicone hydrogel contact lens segment.

Using Smart Silicone as part of the Aquaform comfort science, Smart Silicone creates a unique network of silicone channels, that transmit oxygen more efficiently.

As a result, MyDay contact lenses need less silicone creating a more hydrophilic material for longer lasting wettability along with a soft and flexible lens without sacrificing patient handling.
