Avaira versus Avaira Vitality8 years after the introduction of Avaira in 2008, Avaira Vitality is the successor of CooperVision's bi-weekly replaceable Avaira contact lens. It offers improved UVA Blocking and is based on a new silicone hydrogel material (Fanfilcon A) and an increased amount of water. There was no change in the available sphere powers.
The slightly thinner Avaira Vitality can be worn with vision correction ranging from -12.00D to +8.00D.
