With a few retailers, it's essential to exercise caution and not be swayed solely by the lowest advertised price you might come across online for ACUVUE OASYS MAX 1-DAY Multifocal. They might employ tactics like the bait-and-switch approach, luring customers in with seemingly unbeatable prices, only to tack on exorbitant handling fees (which we incorporate in our price calculation). And while rebates can be enticing, we advise our users to be cautious of retailer mail-in rebates that require submitting or mailing in a form to receive a prepaid Visa or Mastercard reward, as they may involve additional steps and potential long delays in savings realization.

When it comes to selecting the right retailer for your ACUVUE OASYS MAX 1-DAY Multifocal contact lenses, there are a few crucial factors to keep in mind. Some retailers, such as ContactsDirect, 1-800 Contacts, Lensabl, Lenscrafters and DiscountContactLenses, have earned a stellar reputation for their commitment to customer satisfaction and exceptional service when it comes to selling ACUVUE OASYS MAX 1-DAY Multifocal. These trusted names in the industry have a long-standing history of delivering on their promises, ensuring that your contact lens purchasing experience is smooth and hassle-free.

  • For a 3-month supply, purchase 3 boxes containing 30 lenses or 1 box containing 90 lenses.

  • Secure your 12-month supply by purchasing 12 boxes containing 30 lenses or 4 boxes containing 90 lenses.

When does it make sense to opt for the smaller 30-lens box size?

If you're someone who only occasionally wears contact lenses, maybe for activities like sports, travel, or special occasions, the smaller 30-lens box of ACUVUE OASYS MAX 1-DAY Multifocal could be the perfect choice. You get the convenience of having contact lenses on hand without the commitment of a larger supply. Moreover, if you're a first-time contact lens user and not entirely sure about a long-term commitment, the smaller box size provides you with the flexibility to experiment. This allows you to assess comfort, convenience, and suitability without the need to invest in a larger supply until you're completely confident in your choice.

If you come across rebates for contact lenses like ACUVUE OASYS MAX 1-DAY Multifocal, know that you can only get the discount if you buy the lenses from participating eye doctors and optometrists. If you buy them online, you won't qualify for the discount from the manufacturer.

Is it worth considering mail-in rebates offered by online retailers? Well, to begin with, very few retailers offer this option, and there's a good reason for that.

To put it simply, the process of using mail-in rebates can be time-consuming and, at times, frustrating. It typically involves purchasing your lenses online, logging into your retailer account, and printing a rebate form. After filling out and mailing the form, you'll have to wait for a pre-paid VISA card or a similar option to arrive in your mailbox. This waiting period can often take 10 to 12 weeks or even longer after your initial purchase. Additionally, please note that getting a rebate on your ACUVUE OASYS MAX 1-DAY Multifocal lenses may depend on the quantity of boxes you purchase, and smaller orders might not qualify for the rebate.

On our price comparison list for ACUVUE OASYS MAX 1-DAY Multifocal, we make it clear whether a specific offer's price depends on a mail-in rebate requirement. It's also important to note that the retailer offering such a rebate may not necessarily provide the best deal. Be cautious when making your decision.

Have you ever experienced that unpleasant surprise when you're about to complete an online purchase, and suddenly, there's an unexpected handling fee added to your total cost? Fortunately, there are only a few retailers that sneak in these fees during the checkout process, catching customers off guard. These additional costs can effectively double the overall price you thought you were getting a great deal on.

On top, you might see a price advertised, which requires your to send in a mail-in rebate form, making you pay more upfront and then go through a lengthy rebate process. We call this practice "Inflated Pricing," or some might refer to it as "Hidden Costs." Dealing with such retailers can leave a bad taste in your mouth.

But what drives retailers to implement these handling fees in the first place? The answer lies in their strategy to make their advertised ACUVUE OASYS MAX 1-DAY Multifocal prices look more competitive on various online platforms. They aim to attract clicks by displaying lower initial prices on search engines without disclosing these additional fees.

On this price comparison table for ACUVUE OASYS MAX 1-DAY Multifocal, we make sure to alert you to the potential presence of these handling fees. When applicable, we include these fees in the prices we display and show a small note (e.g. 'After mail-in rebate and handling fees'), providing you with a clear and accurate comparison of the true cost of your purchase.

Some retailers offer a 'Best Price Match' or 'Best Price Guarantee' when you purchase ACUVUE OASYS MAX 1-DAY Multifocal. But how straightforward is it to make a claim for such a price match? The devil is in the details, and it's worth considering whether the effort is worthwhile, especially when you can initially find a more cost-effective retailer. Here are some retailer requirements we have seen:

  • Retailer must be able to verify that the competitor's price is for the exact same product and box size, such as the ACUVUE OASYS MAX 1-DAY Multifocal 90-pack, and that it's in stock.
  • The price match request must be made within a certain number of days after your purchase and must be supported by providing a link to the competitor's product page.
  • The competitor must be an authorized retailer or listed among accepted retailers, and their pricing shouldn't be part of a limited-time promotion, clearance sale, or membership-based program.
  • The final matched price should include any additional fees, such as handling charges, shipping costs, and taxes, to ensure an accurate comparison.

Keep in mind that other restrictions may also apply, so always review the details on their website! Retailers who advertise a price match guarantee on their website for a product like ACUVUE OASYS MAX 1-DAY Multifocal include:

Yes, you must have a valid prescription to purchase contact lenses in the United States. Contact lenses such as ACUVUE OASYS MAX 1-DAY Multifocal are considered medical devices, and federal regulations require a licensed eye doctor's prescription for the specific lenses you need. However, there's no need to physically send a copy of your prescription when buying online. Instead, you can simply provide your eye doctor's office phone number or the location where you got your prescription. The online retailer will then reach out to them to verify your prescription. Most contact lens sellers offer a convenient feature in the checkout process that lets you find and automatically enter your eye doctor's information, streamlining the process for your convenience.

Wondering if your eyeglass prescription can be used to purchase ACUVUE OASYS MAX 1-DAY Multifocal contact lenses? The short answer is 'No'. Eyeglass prescriptions typically contain information about the power needed for your lenses, but they lack crucial details like the base curve (BC) and diameter (DIA) required for ordering contact lenses. In other words. A contact lens prescription is for a certain product with distinct technical parameters matching the anatomy and the vision correction requirements of your eyes. To get a contact lens prescription and fitting, consult with an Eye Care Professional (ECP) or optometrist, especially if you're a first-time wearer. Additionally, remember that you are not obligated to purchase your contact lenses from the same place where you received your prescription. Always ask for a copy of your contact lens prescription.

Absolutely, like all soft contact lenses, ACUVUE OASYS MAX 1-DAY Multifocal come with an expiry date. These lenses are made from materials which degrade or lose their sterility over time. Manufacturers determine the expiry date during the packaging and sealing process, and it is clearly printed on both the box and the lid of each lens container. It's important to follow this date and avoid using ACUVUE OASYS MAX 1-DAY Multifocal lenses beyond it, as expired lenses may result in discomfort and an increased risk of eye infections.

Are you considering Auto-Refill for your contact lenses? It sounds convenient, right? Some contact lens retailers offer a lens subscription service for your ACUVUE OASYS MAX 1-DAY Multifocal lenses, which automatically delivers your lenses every 3, 6, or 12 months. But let's pause and think about whether it's really valuable. Firstly, eye exams can lead to prescription changes. If you forget to update your prescription or your lens choice, you might end up with lenses that no longer match your vision needs. And secondly, the online world is full of great deals and offers, so it's always worth checking for new promotions before your next purchase.

My Favorite Multifocals So Far
avatarChrisinSF
I've tried the Clarity 1-Day, Daily Total 1, and Oasys 2-week Multi-Focals and these are my favorite by far. Vision much better than Clarity and Daily Total 1, comfort a tad better than DT1, handling the best, love the 123 (and of course at parity with the 2-week Oasis). I can easily wear for 8-10 hours before dry and even then some on most days. Of course only draw back is price. A 1-Year worth for both eyes came out for me last year (and this year just ordered) - ~$1100 with VSP discount and $100 Acuvue rebate. So, thankfully I just take it out of my FSA, but not really an affordable/value option, but a luxury.
More than 6 hours no prob

I don't wear contact lenses every day so I chose not to go for monthly ones. The oasys max cost more but they're really comfy especially if you're not used to lenses. Your eyes stay comfortable and they don't get dry even after 6-7 hours.
long lasting, vision ok

GL what a lens. Not sure what J&J did but when I got these as a trial, I was positively shocked by their longevity (long office hours) and the comfort they offer. However, visual clarity doesn't quite match up to the Bausch lens I used before.
