Price Comparison PureVision2 for Presbyopia

With a few retailers, it's essential to exercise caution and not be swayed solely by the lowest advertised price you might come across online for PureVision2 for Presbyopia. They might employ tactics like the bait-and-switch approach, luring customers in with seemingly unbeatable prices, only to tack on exorbitant handling fees (which we incorporate in our price calculation). And while rebates can be enticing, we advise our users to be cautious of retailer mail-in rebates that require submitting or mailing in a form to receive a prepaid Visa or Mastercard reward, as they may involve additional steps and potential long delays in savings realization.

Instant discounts for PureVision2 for Presbyopia provide a convenient and significant way to save on your purchase. One common method involves the use of discount or coupon codes, prominently displayed at the top of each page or on the retailer's home page.

We take these codes into consideration when calculating our price comparison, where applicable. Simply apply these codes during the checkout process to calculate a revised order total, which often reflects a 5 to 20% reduction from the original order cost.

If you come across rebates for contact lenses like PureVision2 for Presbyopia, know that you can only get the discount if you buy the lenses from participating eye doctors and optometrists. If you buy them online, you won't qualify for the discount from the manufacturer.

Currently, there is no manufacturer rebate for this lens.

Visit our manufacturer mail-in rebate page for additional details. Keep in mind that contact lens prices at your optometrist's office are often considerably higher than the prices we have listed on this page, even after factoring in a mail-in rebate.

To put it simply, the process of utilizing mail-in rebates can be quite time-consuming and occasionally frustrating. Typically, it involves making your lens purchase online, logging into your retailer account, and obtaining a rebate form that you'll need to print. After completing the form and mailing it, you'll be waiting for a pre-paid VISA card or a similar prepaid card to show up in your mailbox. This entire process can often take 10 to 12 weeks or, in some cases, even longer from the time of your initial purchase. Moreover, it's crucial to understand that you have to order a larger quantity for your PureVision2 for Presbyopia lenses and smaller orders might not qualify for the rebate.

In our price comparison for PureVision2 for Presbyopia, we explicitly state whether a particular offer's price is contingent upon a mail-in rebate requirement. It's also important to be aware that the retailer offering such a rebate might not always provide the best overall deal. Exercise caution when making your decision.

Have you ever experienced that unpleasant surprise when you're about to complete an online purchase, and suddenly, there's an unexpected handling fee added to your total cost? Fortunately, there are only a few retailers that sneak in these fees during the checkout process, catching customers off guard. These additional costs can effectively double the overall price you thought you were getting a great deal on.

On top, you might see a price advertised, which requires your to send in a mail-in rebate form, making you pay more upfront and then go through a lengthy rebate process. We call this practice "Inflated Pricing," or some might refer to it as "Hidden Costs." Dealing with such retailers can leave a bad taste in your mouth.

But what drives retailers to implement these handling fees in the first place? The answer lies in their strategy to make their advertised PureVision2 for Presbyopia prices look more competitive on various online platforms. They aim to attract clicks by displaying lower initial prices on search engines without disclosing these additional fees.

On this price comparison table for PureVision2 for Presbyopia, we make sure to alert you to the potential presence of these handling fees. When applicable, we include these fees in the prices we display and show a small note (e.g. 'After mail-in rebate and handling fees'), providing you with a clear and accurate comparison of the true cost of your purchase.

Some retailers offer a 'Best Price Match' or 'Best Price Guarantee' when you purchase PureVision2 for Presbyopia. But how straightforward is it to make a claim for such a price match? The devil is in the details, and it's worth considering whether the effort is worthwhile, especially when you can initially find a more cost-effective retailer. Here are some retailer requirements we have seen:

• Retailer must be able to verify that the competitor's price is for the exact same product and box size, such as the PureVision2 for Presbyopia 6-pack, and that it's in stock.
• The price match request must be made within a certain number of days after your purchase and must be supported by providing a link to the competitor's product page.
• The competitor must be an authorized retailer or listed among accepted retailers, and their pricing shouldn't be part of a limited-time promotion, clearance sale, or membership-based program.
• The final matched price should include any additional fees, such as handling charges, shipping costs, and taxes, to ensure an accurate comparison.

Keep in mind that other restrictions may also apply, so always review the details on their website! Retailers who advertise a price match guarantee on their website for a product like PureVision2 for Presbyopia include:

• 1-800 Contacts - Best Price Guarantee

Yes, you must have a valid prescription to purchase contact lenses in the United States. Contact lenses are classified as medical devices, and the FDA mandates that a licensed eye doctor must prescribe the specific lenses you require. However, you don't need to physically send a copy of your prescription to the online retailer. Instead, you can simply provide the phone number of your eye doctor's office or the place where you received your PureVision2 for Presbyopia prescription. The retailer will then contact them to verify your prescription. Most contact lens retailers offer a convenient feature during the checkout process that allows you to search for and automatically input your eye doctor's details, making the process smooth and hassle-free.

Wondering if you can use your eyeglass prescription to buy PureVision2 for Presbyopia contact lenses? The short answer is no. While your eyeglass prescription specifies the lens power you need, it lacks essential details like the base curve (BC) and diameter (DIA) required for ordering contact lenses. Contact lens prescriptions are for specific products, with technical parameters tailored to your eye anatomy and vision correction needs, which are crucial for ensuring a proper fit on the eye. Consult with an Eye Care Professional (ECP) or an optometrist and get a separate contact lens prescription to ensure safe and effective use of your contact lenses. Additionally, you're not required to purchase your contacts from the same place where you got your prescription. Remember to ask for a copy of your contact lens prescription.

Absolutely, like all soft contact lenses, PureVision2 for Presbyopia come with an expiry date. These lenses are made from materials which degrade or lose their sterility over time. Manufacturers determine the expiry date during the packaging and sealing process, and it is clearly printed on both the box and the lid of each lens container. It's important to follow this date and avoid using PureVision2 for Presbyopia lenses beyond it, as expired lenses may result in discomfort and an increased risk of eye infections.

Are you considering Auto-Refill for your contact lenses? It sounds convenient, right? Some contact lens retailers offer a lens subscription service for your PureVision2 for Presbyopia lenses, which automatically delivers your lenses every 3, 6, or 12 months. But let's pause and think about whether it's really valuable. Firstly, eye exams can lead to prescription changes. If you forget to update your prescription or your lens choice, you might end up with lenses that no longer match your vision needs. And secondly, the online world is full of great deals and offers, so it's always worth checking for new promotions before your next purchase.
