When dealing with certain retailers, it's crucial to remain vigilant and not base your decision solely on the initially low, seemingly unbeatable price you might encounter online for SofLens Dailies. Some of them employ tactics such as the bait-and-switch, getting you excited with attractive prices, only to surprise you with unexpectedly high handling fees. Whenever possible, our price list includes indications of additional handling fees, which we factor into the total box cost. While rebates can be alluring, we advise our users to exercise caution when it comes to retailer mail-in rebates that necessitate the submission of forms to receive a prepaid Visa or Mastercard reward. These rebates can involve extra steps and significant delays in realizing your savings.

Some retailers, such as ContactsDirect, 1-800 Contacts, Lensabl, Lenscrafters and DiscountContactLenses, have earned a stellar reputation for their commitment to customer satisfaction and exceptional service when it comes to selling SofLens Dailies. Discounts

If you come across rebates for contact lenses like SofLens Dailies, know that you can only get the discount if you buy the lenses from participating eye doctors and optometrists. If you buy them online, you won't qualify for the discount from the manufacturer.

Currently, there is no manufacturer rebate for this lens.

Visit our manufacturer mail-in rebate page for additional details. Keep in mind that contact lens prices at your optometrist's office are often considerably higher than the prices we have listed on this page, even after factoring in a mail-in rebate.

To put it simply, the process of utilizing mail-in rebates can be quite time-consuming and occasionally frustrating. Typically, it involves making your lens purchase online, logging into your retailer account, and obtaining a rebate form that you'll need to print. After completing the form and mailing it, you'll be waiting for a pre-paid VISA card or a similar prepaid card to show up in your mailbox. This entire process can often take 10 to 12 weeks or, in some cases, even longer from the time of your initial purchase. Moreover, it's crucial to understand that you have to order a larger quantity for your SofLens Dailies lenses and smaller orders might not qualify for the rebate.

In our price comparison for SofLens Dailies, we explicitly state whether a particular offer's price is contingent upon a mail-in rebate requirement. It's also important to be aware that the retailer offering such a rebate might not always provide the best overall deal. Exercise caution when making your decision.

Have you ever experienced that unpleasant surprise when you're about to complete an online purchase, and suddenly, there's an unexpected handling fee added to your total cost? Fortunately, there are only a few retailers that sneak in these fees during the checkout process, catching customers off guard. These additional costs can effectively double the overall price you thought you were getting a great deal on.

On top, you might see a price advertised, which requires your to send in a mail-in rebate form, making you pay more upfront and then go through a lengthy rebate process. We call this practice "Inflated Pricing," or some might refer to it as "Hidden Costs." Dealing with such retailers can leave a bad taste in your mouth.

But what drives retailers to implement these handling fees in the first place? The answer lies in their strategy to make their advertised SofLens Dailies prices look more competitive on various online platforms. They aim to attract clicks by displaying lower initial prices on search engines without disclosing these additional fees.

Some retailers offer a best price match or guarantee when they sell you a product like SofLens Dailies, but how straightforward is it to claim such a price match? The devil is in the details, and you should ask yourself if it's worth the effort, especially when you can initially find a more cost-effective retailer. Notably, some of the requirements for claiming a price match are:

  • Ensure the competitor's price is for the exact same product and box size, like the SofLens Dailies 90-pack, and in stock.
  • The price match must be requested within a certain number of days of your purchase and must be validated by providing a link to the competitor's product page.
  • The competitor must be an authorized retailer or part of a list of accepted retailers and not part of a limited-time promotion, clearance, or membership-based pricing.
  • The final, matched price must include any additional fees, including handling fees, shipping and taxes, to provide an accurate comparison.
  • Other restrictions may apply. Always check the details on their site!

No, a valid prescription is necessary when buying contact lenses online in the United States. SofLens Dailies are categorized as medical devices, and as such, federal regulations mandate the need for a licensed eye doctor's prescription tailored to your specific requirements. However, the process of purchasing online is made hassle-free as you are not required to physically send a copy of your prescription. Instead, you can provide your eye doctor's office phone number and location where you obtained your prescription. The online vendor will then contact them to verify your prescription. It's important to note that, according to the Contact Lens Rule, you are not obligated to purchase your contact lenses from the same place that prescribed them. Most contact lens retailers feature a user-friendly option during the checkout process, allowing you to locate and automatically input your eye doctor's information, making the validation process smooth and simple.

Curious whether your eyeglass prescription is sufficient for purchasing SofLens Dailies contact lenses? The straightforward answer is no. Eyeglass prescriptions primarily specify the lens power you need but lack vital details such as the base curve (BC) and diameter (DIA) required for ordering contact lenses. In essence, a contact lens prescription is tailor-made for a specific product, with technical parameters designed to match the anatomy of your eyes and meet your vision correction needs. To obtain a contact lens prescription and a proper fitting, it's advisable to consult with an Eye Care Professional (ECP) or an optometrist, especially if you're new to wearing contact lenses. Additionally, keep in mind that you are not obligated to purchase your contact lenses from the same place where you received your prescription. Don't forget to request a copy of your contact lens prescription.

Yes, SofLens Dailies lenses do have a shelf-life or an expiry date. Contact lenses are made from various materials, and over time, they can degrade or lose their sterility. The expiry date is determined by the manufacturer at the time of packaging and sealing and is printed on the box and the lid of each lens container. It's essential to pay close attention to this date and not use SofLens Dailies beyond it, as expired lenses can lead to discomfort, and an increased risk of eye infections.

Are you thinking about enrolling in a subscription (auto-refill) plan for your SofLens Dailies contacts? It may seem enticing at first. You commit to automatic reordering every 3, 6, or 12 months and enjoy a 5% or 10% discount. However, pause for a moment: is this really a cost-effective choice? Firstly, changes in your prescription may result from eye exams and ignoring to update your prescription could lead to receiving lenses that no longer align with your vision requirements. Secondly, new deals and promotions, sometimes offering discounts of up to 20%, are consistently popping up on the internet. Therefore, your subscription deal might not be the best offer available.

Tried both: Acuvue Moist & Soflens

I've been using Acuvue Moist for more than a year - switched to Soflens Dailies (as they were a bit cheaper). Main differences: Acuvue has a 123 marker to see if they are the right way. They are also a bit easier to put in - they don't flap together as easily as the Soflens. Regarding wearing comfort: they are both similar. I can wear the Soflens longer (8-10h) before my eyes become dry compared to the Acuvue that make my eyes feel itchy after 6-8 hours.

I have used the soflens dailies for several years without any problems. Never had any goo buildup in the eyes or irritated eyes. I don't wear them for more than 6-8 hours though as I want to give my eyes enough rest. Can only recommend these lenses.
They work

Was looking for a lower cost daily lens and this is the one. Love it. Not the newest kid on the block but these work great for me.
